Long Distance Friendship

Afternoon everyone, been away for a while! been so hectic with work.. and now I have a lot of free time on my hands so thought 'why not get back into blogging' so here I am!
My post today is gonna be a tad different, it's about how me and my best friend cope in a 'long distance friendship'.

Kelly and I have known each other for around a year and half after I started working with her and we just clicked! And thats that.. BFF ;) everything was good, we had shopping trips, meals out, cinema, we worked together.. then it all went pearshaped when I moved 120 miles away..
But I can honestly say our friendship HASN'T changed, we keep in touch by text, snapchat, facebook, phonecalls.. yes it does suck not being able to just call your best friend and go for a drink, in this last year we've only saw each other 3 times, but I'm always there for her just as she's always there for me.

So Kellbell! Your my best friend and I love ya!
Do you live close to your best friend?

Everyday make up items

Well hello again! sorry for the absence, been a hectic few weeks. I thought I'd show you my everyday bits and bobs, I personally prefer the natural look and have very pale skin.. even though I have done the 'Orange' look *puts head down in shame! So lets have a nosey inside...

Benefit Porefessional- Wow, I'm gonna cry when I repurchase this and pay £20-something for it, but it has to be done.. I can't imagine not using it now. I know the price is daunting.. but it's so worth it!

Rimmel Perfect Match Foundation- Firstly i LOVE this foundation, in my eyes it's perfect, my shades 201 so a pretty light one, it gives a flawless complexion and I've found it stays put all day long.

Mac Blotting Powder: At first I was rather unimpressed with this, I'm still not sold on it.. It's a lot of money and I think that drugstore branded powders do the job for more than half the price.

Maybelline Fit Me Powder: These powders on the other hand are amazing! I love the 'Fit Me' range and have a foundation just waiting to be used ;) these give a light/medium coverage and will be perfect for when the weather starts warming up, no one wants a cake face!

Hoola Bronzer: Again, another mini that I love and want to buy the full size one! Ultimately I don't wear a lot because I don't like heavy make up, but it's a beautiful colour and gives a warm glow.

MUA blush: EEE bargain buy! amazing blush for £1!! this is a gem and lasts all day, can't wait to purchase some more colours!

Mac Cremecup: This is a stunning nudey pink and is a perfect everyday colour, again I think it's over priced.. sorry mac!

MUA Eyeshadow: Again another bargain buy, I've used this everyday since September and I'm liking it more than my Urban Decay Naked palette.

They're Real Mascara: I like to carry this with me.. Only because it's a mini. I like it, but again think Rimmel do mascaras that are just as good for like £10 cheaper.

Liquid Eyeliner: This is another £1 line from Savers, and it's amazing! it doesn't smudge and lasts all day, it's replaced my beloved Rimmel eyeliner!

Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil: Great product, perfect colouring for my hair. And it also lasts ages because you don't have to keep sharpening it after every use!

Haul!

So I'm now sat at home watching Beastly, if you haven't saw it- it's good! it as Alex Pettyfer in -swoooon!- I'm overly excited to go and see his new film Endless Love at the weekend with my bestie. So onto today! I went shopping in Lincoln, it was a really lovely trip- nice and sunny and great shops so I was pretty happy! This is the first shopping trip I've been on in AGES where I've been happy with the reflection, I've just gone down from a size 24/26 to a 16/18 in 3 months and I've done it healthy! no fad diets just pure healthy foods and exercise and I've never felt better, let me know if you'd like a post on that?

So what I got in Primark:

Make up Bag- £4
Pug socks- £2
Bag-£12
Scarfs-£4 each
Bracelets-£2.50

WOW I am so impressed! I don't live near a Primark and haven't been in one since the end of December but I'm loving the new stock! the bag is very sturdy and can fit everything and more in! It also comes in a variety of colours, I settled on the Grey one because I think it's nice and light for Spring. Also how adorable is the make up bag, I know a lot of people are loving the Ted Baker or River Island ones but I think Primarks are just as nice, but it's down to personal taste. The socks are my best buy, I love pugs and the socks are in a pack of 3 and are such a steal, go get them!

New Look

Nude blazer - £24.99
Blue top- £14.99

Ahh, New Look is possibly my favourite store to shop in, I really love the clothes there! I think the accessories are waaaay over priced though, the blazer is simply stunning and a great material and will be the perfect cover for spring and summer. The top is also a great purchase and can be dressed up or down, the 2 go really well together actually and go great with the scarfs I purchased... Cheeky OOTD soon?

My Hair Story!

The first time I started 'messing' with my hair was when I was around 14 years old, which now seems really young to me and wish I'd have kept my hair its natural colour whilst going through secondary school, would have saved me soooo much money!
Anyway, this first picture is of my natural hair colour and was taken in summer 2008 and I was 14

I'm on the left!

Skip forward a few months and I'd gone to the dark side, which I really, really liked this was in March 2009 a few weeks before my 15th

Ahh soon got fed up of my healthy looking brunette hair though and decided to go back lighter and also adding a lot of volume to my do!
This photo was around September 2009 and was taken before a school trip to London

Not satisfied with that colour I decided I wanted to be really blonde and really fake! thus bleaching my hair and wearing a lot of barbie esque clothes.. oh dear, this photo was taken around February 2010 so a month before my sweet 16th
Not happy with being barbie blonde I then chose to go Black.. and wear a lot of dark make up.. not great choices but I was 16 and thought I knew it all!
This photo was taken in April 2010
When I left school that May I then started bleaching my hair up again to Blonde, now this really left my hair damaged and in bad condition which was super silly of me but i did it and by September 2010 I was back blonde to start college!

I kept my hair blonde for around a year then in August 2011 when I was 17 I decided to go for a ashy blonde with dark underneath, not really sure why.. but at the time I thought it looked good..

Skip forward to June 2013 and my hair was AMAZING, not being big headed but I loved my hair like this.. it was a bronde colour and just heaven :/ haha!

So this leads me to now, February 2014 at 19 with a Brown bob and full fringe and I love it, I feel so much better as a brunette than i ever did with blonde hair, just took me a lot of money to realise! But thats the whole point of growing up, to mess around and change your style right?

Did you experiment with your hair colour when you were younger?
